Protect your account and understand sign-in persistence.
What to do
Open Account → Security to set up an authenticator. Scan the displayed QR code with your authenticator app, then enter its current code to finish setup. Keep the setup secret private and follow the on-screen steps when changing or removing a factor.
Good to know
Remember this device keeps eligible sign-in cookies for up to 30 days on a trusted device. It does not bypass security checks or guarantee that a session can never end. Avoid this option on shared computers and sign out when finished.
